13 May, 2026 - 2 weeks ago - on Olive Branch Road I had almost reached the top of a climb, and was picking up speed as the road leveled out. I heard barking behind me and saw a dog running up behind me on my right. I turned and shouted at it, which seldom works, but this time it did, and the dog stopped chasing and turned around. While it was no real threat to me, things may have gone differently if had been going in the other direction, gaining speed before the descent, and the dog had run in front of my wheel. Not to mention, the dog could have been struck by another vehicle.
