Squeezing Through Too Close While Waiting For Left Turn Traffic Light

A short video clip recorded on Monday 23 November around 08.00 on Mounts Bay Road in Perth. I am on a bicycle, almost stationary, having signalled to turn left into William Street but waiting on the traffic light left turn filter which is red. I am then passed very closely, definitely less than 1 metre away, on my right hand side by the Brightwater truck which continues straight on down Mounts Bay Road.

In the full video, the truck can be seen joining the queue at the traffic lights in the outside lane but at the traffic lights it passes me in the kerb side lane.

My hope is that you can share this video with the driver to illustrate how close he passed as no-one wants an injury or to cause an injury.
