A frequent incident at this bridge, in both directions! It's a humped bridge followed by a blind left bend northbound and a blind right bend southbound. The present incident is southbound and the overtaking driver is on the right side of a car in the right lane and is lower down than my headcam- he can't possibly see what's coming, especially during daytime when there are no oncoming headlights. In the days when the astonishingly dim police used to think up excuses why they couldn't do anything they would assume that the driver's viewpoint was the same as my camera, and complain that there was no speedometer to prove that the overtaking was illegal. There will be a collision one day- what's delaying that is that there are so few cyclists that the co-incidence of two from opposite directions arriving at the bridge simultaneously and being overtaken by aggressive drivers is very improbable. Now, the police just ignore all such reports. Time on the video is GMT.
