Lorry close pass as vehicles on other side of the road

Cycling out of Rye there are cars parked along the roadside. A lorry decides he can't wait any longer and overtakes me alongside cars parked on the opposite side of the road. As a result he gives me no space. He only had to wait a few more seconds for the road to be clear. As can be seen from the video, the car following him gave me a lot more space as they were not impeded by anything on the other side of the road.
