Impatient MGIF overtake

BMW impatiently and dangerously overtakes at speed into the small pocket of space between me and the car in front. We've both been rolling along the pier front full of pedestrians for a couple of minutes in heavy moving traffic, the BMW gets nowhere and I pass him again shortly.
