Driver tries to pass on the right, in the shoulder, and rages out when he can’t squeeze past me

It's not clear why this driver wanted to illegally pass on the right, in the shoulder, immediately after we had both made a left turn.

About 2 minutes later, I caught up with him sitting at a red light. Not being able to pass me on the shoulder probably deprived him of the opportunity to spend a few more seconds waiting at that red light.
