Close pass & left hook

Why didn't they wait 5 seconds and do it safely? Because obviously drivers are more important than cyclists! C'mon, you should know that by now. I now take the middle of the lane here as otherwise drivers assume I'm turning left and do things dangerous like this.
Reported to the police but no idea of the outcome as they don't provide updates.
