Bus mirror is just a thing

Coming up from behind to a bus, that was stopped at a bus stop, I am preparing to overtake the bus when the bus starts to drive out from the bus stop even if he must have seen me since I would have been clearly visible in his right side mirror. Unfortunately, this is a common incident.
