Bus Cut Me Up

I was patiently waiting at the traffic lights in the right lane (which is the correct lane for going straight ahead). You'll see a couple of cyclists get the jump on the red and if you’ve ever wondered why cyclists do it, you’ll see in a second. As the lights turn green a bus under takes me leaving me no room as he squeezes me towards the central curb forcing me onto the wrong side of the road.

Why was the bus in such a rush, did it get him anywhere faster? No. There’s a bus stop ahead and more traffic lights a little further on.
