BMW dangerous close pass in the rain LB18DJX

When you drive your BMW over a blind crest in the rain with a car to your right and then see a cyclist on the left what do you do? Obviously a safe competent driver would put their foot down and accelerate to well over the speed limit and just squeeze between the two whilst congratulating themselves on their driving prowess.
Reported to the police but they don't provide updates so no idea of the outcome.
