🚫 Blocked Bike Lane on the Bridge — Paris 🚫

🚴‍♂️ This bridge is supposed to have a bike lane… but as you can see, cars were completely parked in it for the entire span. Every cyclist was forced onto the sidewalk, putting us right in the path of pedestrians — totally unsafe for everyone.

Even with six police officers present managing the crazy rush-hour traffic, nothing was done. When I asked them to intervene, they said they had “too many other things to do.” So thanks for being there… but it made zero difference.

It’s a real shame. 😞
Paris wants to encourage cycling, but if bike lanes are just car lanes in disguise, what are we supposed to do?

We deserve safe, protected spaces to ride — not sidewalks. 🙅‍♂️🚴‍♀️.
